Not been here for a while due to working away, went tonight and good old Stav still welcomes you as all staff do with a friendly smile cooked me a fish still will not be beaten on quality. Fish was large batter chrispy an the fish was amazing 10/10 Stav. Time you entered national Fish an chips award 2020

I ate 3 pigeon burgers and the next morning, I could fly!!!! I couldn't believe it. I've never been again tho b'cos I can fly now, I see the world, a different country every day. I'm so grateful. The only downside is that I have to clean my wings once a week

Always good food. Reasonable prices, amazing portions. I love the salt and pepper fish and chips. Staff don't look very happy, but it's always my chippy of choice!

Enjoyed the food. I was served very quickly deapite the fact it was busy. Staff are friendly and helpful. Love the new interior. Its very clean and shiny. They have reasonable prices and a great choice of English and Chinese dishes.

This is the best fish and chips shop around. The portions are large and reasonably priced for the portion size. I have even tried some of their chinese meals which I just love. The owner and staff are always friendly and very helpful Please give them a go and you will see why so many people love this place.

Best fish and chips locally that I've found. Certainly much better than the Rainhill chippy, although to be fair the Rainhill one does Gluten Free (unlike Cosmos) so that's a bonus.
